By recycling old Rocker Covers, kids have the opportunity to design and create their own unique racer to test at the track for the Championship rounds.
Categories
SPEED - all racers will compete for Speed class
TRIBUTE - tribute racers are racers that mimic real vehicles such as a Cobra, a vintage vehicle, a muscle car, Sandman, etc.
WILD THING - this category is for racers that have had extensive modifications to create an unusual looking vehicle such as an aeroplane, spaceship or boat. Imagination can roam free in this category!
On the day
- Entrants must present their racers at the Rocker Cover Track for scrutineering between 9 am and 9.45 am. (Entries will be available at Rocker Cover track.)
- The Rocker Cover Racing will commence at 10 am
- Owners must be present for their racers to win
- There will be no heats
- The races will run continually until the winners are decided by the process of elimination.
Get your rocker cover and let your imagination run free to design and create your very unique racer and take it to the track at the Queensland Autospectacular.
Cost
Entry is free and open to all ages.
