All new Queensland Autospectacular

The Buick Car Club of Australia Inc. (Qld.) initiated and was responsible for the highly successful Cleveland Autospectacular for the past ten years during which time it became the largest car show and swap meet in Queensland. 

With the closure of the Cleveland Autospectacular through urban and other pressures the Buick Club saw this as the perfect opportunity to team with the Willowbank management team to create an all new annual Queensland Autospectacular at  Willowbank Raceway. www.willowbankraceway.com.au

Unlike other venues in South East Queensland, Willowbank provides near unlimited space for expansion of the new Queensland Autospectacular, ensuring there will be no more turn aways at the gate due to the grounds being full.

 The inaugural Queensland Autospectacular will be held on Sunday, 10^th April 2011, during the 10 day long Ipswich City Festival.

 This great new venue offers many advantages including over 15 hectares of security fenced virtually all weather display areas, a large adjoining free parking area for over 2,600 spectator cars, much larger swap meet, show car, and vehicle display areas, the fastest Drag Strip in Australia and associated facilities, easy motorway access, great food and kids amusements.

As well as the judged show cars, display cars and swap meet, in conjunction with Willowbank Raceway Management, many new events will be incorporated including:-

• Timed ¼ mile Test ‘ n ‘ Tune drags in your street registered car or ute
• Dyno horsepower testing
• Sound off competition
• The Australian Rocker Cover Racing Championship
• A car sales corral
• Special display area for Vehicle clubs including veteran, military, bike, ute and car clubs
• Large trade site display area
•  More trophies
